Dickinson, TX

Dickinson bee removal along the I-45 houses and outbuildings.

Dickinson calls are often a shed, a meter box, or a wood-frame wall that’s been humming since last summer. Humidity does the rest. We pull the colony live when we can and we always pull the comb.

Typical Dickinson jobs

This isn’t a downtown attic circuit. It’s older stock, metal buildings, and cavities you can hear from the driveway. If bees are coming through a window AC sleeve or a garage gable, say that on the form — access changes the work more than the city name does.

  • Established hives in sheds, garages, and gable vents
  • Swarms on fences and equipment that still need a same-day box
  • Cutouts where a spray route already fogged the entrance
  • Close-up after the comb is out — not a hole in the wall

I-45 corridor, not a second shop

Dickinson sits on the I-45 corridor between League City and Galveston. League City is still where we stage. Dickinson is the NAP city we drive daily — older wood-frame houses, sheds, meter boxes, and garage gables — not a separate storefront.

Leave the entrance open. Keep kids and pets inside. If someone already sprayed the hole, say so. The comb is probably still in the wall.

Dickinson Bayou, sheds, and meter boxes

If bees are working one hole in your Dickinson house, shed, or meter box for more than a day, a colony has moved in. Don't spray it, don't pour anything in it, and don't plug it. Call 281-910-5864 or send photos through the quote form.

Dickinson is our business address city. Dickinson Bayou runs through town toward Galveston Bay, and the neighborhoods along it have big trees, damp air, older wood-frame houses, mobile homes, and metal outbuildings.

Where hives turn up here: wood-frame wall voids, soffits and eaves, garage and shed gables, under mobile home skirting, and in water meter and irrigation boxes. Comb in a damp bayou-side cavity stays wet, leaks honey, and draws ants and roaches, so the comb has to come out. See Bees in your wall, soffit, or attic and How it works. Finished jobs: Dickinson eave hive case study and Case studies.

Swarms: spring is the busy stretch, and swarms can turn up on warm days later in the year too. A swarm on a fence or trailer is resting; keep people back and call. If it's still there the next day, or bees start going into a wall or box, it's becoming a hive.

What to do now: leave the entrance alone, keep kids and pets inside, and call 281-910-5864 or use the quote form. Tell us if it's a house wall, a shed, or a meter box.

Where bees settle in Dickinson homes

Dickinson's oldest streets sit in a grid around downtown on Highway 3, next to the railroad the town grew up on. There, bees use wall voids behind siding, porch ceilings, attic eaves, and chimney chases. I-45 runs along the west side, and FM 517 crosses town. On newer homes near I-45, bees pick soffit corners and attic eaves.

Hurricane Harvey flooded most of Dickinson in 2017. Since then, some homes have been raised or rebuilt higher, some with a garage underneath. On raised homes, check the framing under the floor and enclosed storage below. In the yard, check water meter boxes, irrigation valve boxes, sheds, and fence lines.

We remove the colony live: find the cavity, open only what the comb needs, take the bees and comb, and close the opening. Honeybee Removal's business address is in Dickinson. If your house was raised, tell us how high the floor is. Call Honeybee Removal at 281-910-5864.

Dickinson questions

Do you have a shop in Dickinson?
No. League City is home base. Dickinson is the mailing and business-address city on the I-45 corridor we drive daily. There is no separate Dickinson storefront.
How do I tell a Dickinson swarm from a cutout?
A cluster that landed today on a fence, shed, or piece of equipment is usually a swarm. Bees using one hole in a wood-frame wall, garage gable, or shed for days means comb is already built. That is a cutout.
Where should I leave the driveway or gate?
Open when you can. Dickinson jobs are often a shed or a wall you can hear from the drive. If a gate, dog, or parked truck blocks the ladder, say so on the call.
Why not spray a humid Gulf wall?
Spray kills the bees you can see and leaves comb in a cavity that stays damp. That honey draws pests and makes the next cutout worse. We take the colony when we can move it safely, pull the comb, and close the entry.
Who has to approve opening a wall or siding?
The owner. If you rent, get the landlord on the phone before we open siding or a shed wall. Leave the entrance open and keep kids and pets inside.
When can I call?
Call 281-910-5864 any hour. We will tell you a visit window based on the drive and whether it is a swarm or a wall. We will not invent a time we cannot keep.
Bees are in my water meter box. What should I do?
Leave the lid shut, keep kids and pets away, and don't pour anything in it. Call 281-910-5864 or send a photo through the quote form and say it's a meter box. If the box belongs to your water utility, let them know too.
Do you remove bees from sheds and mobile homes in Dickinson?
Yes. Sheds, garages, metal outbuildings, and the space under mobile home skirting are common hive spots here. We find the comb, take out the bees and the comb, relocate the colony when it can be moved safely, and close what we opened.
How much does bee removal cost in Dickinson?
Honeybee Removal quotes from photos first, then gives you a firm price before any work starts. See the bee removal cost guide.
Who does live bee removal in Dickinson, TX?
Honeybee Removal. Charles Manning runs it out of League City, and the business address is in Dickinson on the I-45 corridor, so Dickinson is a short drive: live honey bee removal for swarms and wall, attic, and eave cutouts, comb out, cavity closed. It is live removal, not an exterminator. Call Honeybee Removal at 281-910-5864.
Where do honey bees usually build in Dickinson houses?
Near downtown on Highway 3: wall voids behind siding, porch ceilings, attic eaves, and chimney chases. On newer homes near I-45: soffit corners and attic eaves. On homes raised or rebuilt higher after Hurricane Harvey: the framing under the floor and enclosed storage below. In yards: water meter boxes, irrigation valve boxes, sheds, and fence lines. Honeybee Removal takes the bees and comb out live. Call Honeybee Removal at 281-910-5864.
Is bee removal free in Dickinson?
Swarms and established hives are priced differently. A swarm hanging on a branch or fence is usually a short capture visit, with no opening of the structure. An established hive in a wall, soffit, or attic is a cutout: we open the structure, remove the comb, clean the cavity, and repair what we opened, so it costs more. Send photos for a range, and you get a firm price before any work starts.
