Friendswood, TX

Friendswood bee removal for brick ranches and live-oak lots.

Friendswood is west of our League City run: older brick veneer, deep eaves, and trees that hold a swarm for a day before it walks into a wall. We take the bees and the comb — not a fog-and-leave.

What we actually do here

A lot of Friendswood calls start as “bees in the oak” and turn into a soffit hive by the next afternoon. The form asks how long they’ve been there for that reason. If they arrived this morning, we try to catch the cluster live. If you’ve heard buzzing in a ceiling for a week, that’s already a cutout.

  • Swarm capture on trees, fences, and playsets
  • Wall, attic, and soffit cutouts in brick ranch and two-story stock
  • Comb and honey out of the cavity, then the entry screened
  • Honest range on the first call from the photos you send

West of League City

Friendswood sits west of League City among live-oak lots and brick ranches. That is the housing we actually hear about. League City remains home base. Friendswood is west-side coverage we drive, not a second shop.

HOA fences and shared side yards show up on access notes. Say so before we stage. Leave the entrance open. Keep kids and pets inside until we finish.

Wooded lots, older homes, and Clear Creek

If bees are coming and going from one gap in your Friendswood house for more than a day, they're building comb inside. Don't spray it and don't seal the hole. Call 281-910-5864 or send photos through the quote form.

Friendswood mixes older neighborhoods with mature trees and wooded lots, many along Clear Creek, with newer subdivisions toward the edges of town. Big trees give a swarm a place to rest while scout bees look for a cavity, and older brick homes give them one: gaps where brick veneer meets the soffit, weep holes, attic gable vents, and eaves that have shifted over time.

Where hives turn up here: wall voids behind brick veneer, soffits and eaves, attics, garden sheds and playhouses, and water meter and irrigation boxes in the yard. Leave the lid or door shut and send a photo of where the bees go in. For a hive inside the house, see Bees in your wall, soffit, or attic.

Swarms: spring brings the most swarms to wooded lots like these. A cluster in a live oak usually moves on within a day or two. Leave it alone and keep kids and pets inside. If bees start going into your eaves or walls, call before they build comb. That's what turns a swarm capture into a cutout.

What to do now: call 281-910-5864 or use the quote form. Say how long the bees have been there and whether a fence or HOA rule affects access. Where bees settle in Friendswood homes

Friendswood started in 1895 as a Quaker colony in the woods along Clear Creek, Coward's Creek, and Chigger Creek. Subdivisions filled in during the 1960s and 1970s as NASA grew nearby; Sun Meadow and Forest Bend date from then. There, bees use soffits, attic eaves, wall voids, and chimney chases.

Clear Creek splits the city: the Harris County side is north, with Wedgewood Village between South Friendswood Drive and I-45, and the Galveston County side is south, with newer sections like West Ranch off FM 518. Some homes near the creek have been raised; check their soffit corners and under the floor. In the yard, check water meter boxes, irrigation valve boxes, sheds, and fence lines.

We remove the colony live: find the cavity, open only what the comb needs, take the bees and comb, and close the opening. If your lot backs up to the creek, say so on the call. Call Honeybee Removal at 281-910-5864.

Friendswood questions

Do you have a shop in Friendswood?
No. League City is home base. Friendswood is west-side coverage we drive. There is no Friendswood office.
What if an HOA fence or a shared side yard is in the way?
Flag it on the first call. Shared fences and side yards change where we can put a ladder. We would rather know before we roll than stop at the fence.
How do I tell an oak-lot swarm from a wall cutout?
A cluster that landed today in a live oak, on a fence, or on a playset is usually a swarm. Buzzing in a ceiling for a week, or steady traffic at one eave, means comb is in the wall. That is a cutout.
Why not spray under the brick or the eave?
Spray leaves comb and honey in a humid cavity. It stains, smells, and pulls the next swarm to the same gap. We take the bees when we can move them safely, pull the comb, and screen the entry.
Where should kids and pets be while you work?
Inside, clear of the work area. Leave the entrance open so the bees keep using the hole they already have. Do not seal it while they are still in the wall.
When can I call?
Call 281-910-5864 anytime. We will say whether today works from League City and whether the job looks like a swarm or a cutout.
Why do swarms land on wooded Friendswood lots?
A swarm rests on a branch while scout bees look for a new home. Mature trees give it a place to hang, and gaps in nearby eaves and brick give it a place to move in. If the bees start going into your house, call 281-910-5864 before they build comb.
Bees are in my shed or kids' playhouse. Can you get them out?
Yes. Keep the door shut and kids and pets away, and send a photo of where the bees go in. We take out the bees and the comb, relocate the colony when it can be moved safely, and close what we opened.
How much does bee removal cost in Friendswood?
It depends on where the hive is and how much has to be opened. Honeybee Removal quotes Friendswood jobs from photos first, then gives you a firm price before any work starts. See the bee removal cost guide.
Who does live bee removal in Friendswood, TX?
Honeybee Removal. Charles Manning runs it out of League City and drives to Friendswood for live honey bee removal: swarms, wall, attic, and eave cutouts, comb out, cavity closed. It is live removal, not an exterminator. Call Honeybee Removal at 281-910-5864.
Where do honey bees usually build in Friendswood houses?
In older homes in Sun Meadow, Forest Bend, and Wedgewood Village: soffits, attic eaves, wall voids, and chimney chases. In newer sections like West Ranch: soffit corners and attic eaves. On homes raised higher near Clear Creek: soffit corners and under the floor. In yards: water meter boxes, irrigation valve boxes, sheds, and fence lines. Honeybee Removal takes the bees and comb out live. Call Honeybee Removal at 281-910-5864.
Is bee removal free in Friendswood?
Swarms and established hives are priced differently. A swarm hanging on a branch or fence is usually a short capture visit, with no opening of the structure. An established hive in a wall, soffit, or attic is a cutout: we open the structure, remove the comb, clean the cavity, and repair what we opened, so it costs more. Send photos for a range, and you get a firm price before any work starts.
